The designs of our artistic urns mostly come from our partners Nona Mela und Comar. Our artists can paint your motif on the urn by hand. Or, upon request, you can get a personalised artistic urn.

An artistic urn can be a painted work of art, a relief art, or an airbrush design. The motifs could be inspired by Michelangelo’s fresco “The Creation of Adam”, a morning scene in the savannah, or minimalistic motifs and flower art.

Special painting techniques characterise the airbrush urns. The style includes lots of imaginative motifs full of mythical creatures. This special art form is very colourful, but environmentally friendly thanks to natural colours. All of our airbrush urns are handmade single pieces. When required, we can customise and personalise your urn.

Comar represents urns with an expressionistic graffiti style. The compositions show joyfulness, vibrancy, and vitality while the symbolism often appears extravagant, profound, and sometimes abstract. His use of intense colours contrasts the grief and symbolises the life of the deceased.

Beautiful handmade urns – stylish and with a timeless appeal. These are artistic urns by Nona Mela. In some cases, she works with patterns, and sometimes with wooden reliefs or floral decor. Minimalistic, precious, and elegant are the terms which best describe the art of Nona Mela when she designs urns.

The artist is a nature lover, so sustainability is an important aspect of her work. All of her urns are biodegradable. Her artistic urns always have a deeper meaning. The urn “Universum” (universe) represents the overall picture of life, our origin and our end at the same time.
